Hi,

I've applied an experimental waveform to a pressure-inlet using a profile. I then monitored the maximum pressure on that boundary. My input profile has a maximum pressure of 80 kPa, meanwhile my monitor says the maximum pressure is 65 kPa.

The monitor and input waveform have the same shape, but have different maximum values for the initial peak. Why might this be? My thinking is that the input values should be identical to those monitored.

Thanks

Is your entire profile displaced by 15kPa ? Check your reference pressure and cross check if you are applying and evaluating the same( reference/absolute)

Cheers,

The 15 kPa difference was only at the peak of the waveform. What happened was I was monitoring static pressure, instead of total pressure. Thank you for your response.
