Hi All,
I am considering particle-particle interaction in DPM. In DEM collision settings there are different contact force laws. I am using Spring-dashpot laws for normal and Friction-dshf laws for tangential direction. I am having problem to define the constant value. I am simulating micro particle(inert particle) ranging form 1 to 10 micro. Can anyone tell me how to modify all of the constant value? Please see the attached image. In my case, when two particles will collide, it will reflect from each other. Thanks for your time and help. Thank you very much. Regards, Saeed; |

Can anyone tell me the spring constant value for 10 micro spherical particle for spring collision model. In FLUENT the default value is 1000 for both spring and spring-dashpot model. are the spring constant values are different for different size particle and different flow rates?
Thank you very much for your help and best regards, Saidul; |
