Default Adapt circular region on a square mesh

Hi,

My mesh consists of square cells which get smaller in both directions towards the bottom left corner. I'm trying to patch a circle on to the mesh, however I don't get a sharp boundary and it doesn't really look like a circle. Is there a workaround to this?
