Dear everyone, I've met a serious problem that when I read the mesh in the Fluent, errors came as follows:
Error: File has wrong dimensions (2). Error Object: #f Error: Error reading "D:\WEI QINGSHENG\material of Studied software y\ANSYS\Ansys Fluent Tutorials\ANSYS_Fluid_Dynamics_Tutorial_Inputs\per iodic_flow_heat\tubebank.msh". Error Object: #f Reading Settings file C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp\2... Done. Error: access: unbound variable Error Object: set-vars! Interrupting... Done. Has anyone met before? Please help me step ahead. |

did you name your boundaries using special characters or did you have a spacing in between the words? For example, Fluent does not like inlet 1. Use underscores eg inlet_1.

Thanks for the quick reply. I found that it was due to the wrong selection when started the fluent. I chose the 3D item at the beginning while I read a 2D mesh.
