Hi,
I am working on simple 2d heat transfer and solidification model. I have meshed model in HyperWorks then exported it to Fluent. Model contains two cell zones - layer of pcm material surrounding oil pan and oil pan itself. When exprted, Fluent considered contact (boundary) between oil pan and pcm as interior (i was able to display interior as usual, green mesh). When I have changed type of BC to "wall" Fluent made an another BC named contact-shadow. Is that correct? Also, I have to input another BC values to that wall (boundary between cell zone) - like heat flux or temp - and i do not want to - I just want that wall to be a border of oil pan and pcm layer and I want Fluent to compute heat transfer. What mechanism I should use? |
