Hi,
I am doing CFD simulation of cycloidal rotor engine in Ansys Fluent.
I have used 2D, Transient, Dynamic mesh model & Tri mesh.
The motion of rotor is define through UDF as Define CG motion Macro.
Rotor rotates eccentrically & the clearance between Stater & Rotor is 3 mm (in order to maintain mesh consistency in dynamic meshing model).

But due to that clearance sufficient pressure in each lobe does not achieve.
I have noticed that during compression the gas easily flow from one compartment to other.
In order to avoid that leakage I want to use porous media modeling at the stater tip.
is it possible to use porous region directly in Fluent without creating separate cell zone?, also the mesh elements in created fixed porous region will be deformed time wise.

Please help me to sort out this problem.
Thanks.
