Hello

in ansys fluent,in the injection tab for DPM, I am asked to insert several parameters;including diameter of particle, velocity of particle and mass flow rate. (We know massflowrate=rho*v*A)
i'm wondering myself if I insert diameter of particle (A obtains from diameter of particle) and Velocity (V); based on massflowrate=rho*v*A ; the mass flow rate would be determined, so why we have to insert the mass flow rate again !!!???

What is the difference between inserted mass flow rate and calculated mass flow rate by formule of mdat=rho*v*A ???
