I am modeling a valve, due to the contact between the ball and the valve seat, I get negative volume error.

After many iterations I was thinking maybe if I apply a porous zone at the boundary with very large friction it would allow me to at least get very close to the boundary.

The problem I am having is defining the interfaces and boundary conditions.

Here is a snippet of what I am talking about.

I am also using a 6DOF UDF and Dynamic Mesh.

The two rectangles would represent the porous body.

Thank You
