Hello all,
I'm new to Fluent and I'm struggling with the coordinate system. I defined a local coordinate system in fluent Meshing. Now I want the solver to use this local coordinate system. Is that possible? Hope someone can help me with this Regards |

You can always scale/translate/rotate the mesh in Fluent so that it consistent with your coordinate system.

Thank you for your quick response LuckyTran!
Due to the geometry I defined a local cylindrical coordinate system which I want fluent to use. Makes my life much easier in writing my UDF. (My geometry has an annular shape) have you got experience with this? tips or advies are more than welkom! Regards |

In GUI:
Mesh=>Translate Mesh=>Rotate Similarly in TUI /mesh/translate /mesh/rotate Repeat until you have the correct coordinate system. |
