Hello,
i have a problem with the modeling of a free radical polymerisation reactor. Here the underlying kinetics: Initiator ----> 2 * Radical (1) Radical + Monomer ----> Radical (2) Radical + Radical ----> Polymer (3) The Problem is the equation number 2. Radical reacts with a monomer to form a new radical. Solving such an equation is Fluent is because of mass imbalance impossible. Is there a trick .... perhaps with a UDF or something ? |

Hello, I am having the same problem but only with a more complex kinetic reactions with 31 and 24 radicals and molecular components, I'm trying to implement in ansys CFX, but always appears overflow error ... you could implement the model?
