I want to simulate water subcooled flow boiling in a heated pipe by fluent. The geometry is 2D axi-symmetry and the boundary conditions are as follows:

inlet: vel=0.3/ Re=10,000, pressure=1 atm, Temp= 90 degree.C

wall heat flux= 180000 w/m2, length=1 m, Di= 10 mm

I have used Eu-Eu model and RPI for wall heat flux.

After some iterations when the wall temperature goes up and the boiling mechanism begins I face the convergence problem( reverse flow and turbulent viscosity limitation).

Please help me in this issue.

Hey iman, have you made any progress on this problem as I am also attempting something similar and any tips would be very helpful.

Cheers,
HHK
