Hi,

I am simulating simple gas flow through pipe, where inlet gas temperature is around 1400 K. I have to consider radiation from gas to inner pipe wall along with convection. Outer wall to atmosphere is also to be included. Which radiation model among Rosseland, P1, DTRM, S2S and DO will be most appropriate in this case and why?

(I am sure to notice significant change in isotherms when radiation is included instead of just convection.)

Thanks in advance...

Anybody up for this?..Can scattering be neglected..I got unrealistic surface heat transfer coefficients, when using DO model..I used assumed values of radiation properties of gas and wall. Also , did not select Do-energy coupling. Will these things make some differences?
