Hi everyone,
I want to simulate the species transport in an oscillatory flow in a pipe. I know that species transport solution is not coupled with velocity and pressure calculations and I know that my velocity field is cycle independent. Now, my question is that: is there a way to do the flow calculations (for continuity and momentum equations) only for one cycle and use them in the subsequent cycles and solve only for advection/diffusion equation (To save computational time)? For example, is there a way to read a case and data file (containing velocity data) at the beginning of each new time step instead of recalculating the solution for velocity? Any idea on this would be appreciated! Thanks |
