manas is on a distinguished road
I am doing a compressor cascade simulation in fluent. I have specified the boundary conditions as velocity inlet, pressure outlet, no slip wall for airfoil surfaces and periodic boundaries on the cascade walls.

I would like to know the mathematical idea behind solving this using the velocity inlet and pressure outlet.

And what about the turbulence intensity to be specified?

Can anyone help?
