Hi all,
i have a question for you...i'd like to know if, in a steady simulation, it's possible (and eventually how) to set Fluent to make it stop automatically when the monitors present flat curves. Maybe in the Convergence Manager?

These are excerpts from the tutorial titled Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer in a Mixing Elbow. Here the convergence criteria is based on outlet temperature. You can modify according to your own case.
  1. Setup Surface Monitor to observe temperature at the outlet.
  2. Go to Monitors--> Convergence Manager. This will open a window.
  3. Activate convergence criteria based on the Surface Monitor.
  4. Select the termination criteria, how many initial iterations to be ignored and the number of iterations to be considered.
  5. Press ok to close the window.
  6. Initialize the case
  7. Run the case
