Hi everybody!
I am analyzing the mass transfer of a dilute component between a solid body and a fluid body. For this purpose, I have defineda User Defined Scalar to represent the concentration of this solute. In the interphase located between the two phases, the concentration of the substance is established by the Henry's law. I would like like to know if it is possible to define the values of a variable of a face of the fluid domain from a shadow face associated to a solid body by using a UDF. I have tried to make it by using a DEFINE_PROFILE function and a loop that analyzes all the cells of the thread. However, I couldn't have transferred the values because the UDF must compare the position coordinates of the two faces and then copy the values if they are the same. I would really appreciate if one the users of this forum could help me to solve this problem. Thanks in advance for your help |
