Hello everyone. I am working on a simulation where I am using sliding and dynamic mesh zones. However I am facing problems with the dynamic mesh. The mesh is getting distorted. I checked my UDF by exporting the coordinates of the nodes and plotting them on excel. They seem alright. Do you think I should let go of the sliding mesh and include its motion in the dynamic mesh UDF??
Thank you

vasava will become famous soon enough
Can you post a picture or a diagram of your case? Also post the details of dynamic mesh setup for your case.

For the dynamic mesh, I am using the following settings:
-User Defined Grid Motion
-Remeshing with local cell, local face and region face enabled using the following criteria:
*Minimum Length scale 0.001m
*Maximum Length scale 0.4m
*Max. cell skewness 0.5
*Max. Face Skewness 0.5
*Size remeshing interval 1

I have attached pictures of the mesh where negative cells are forming.

Thank you,
