Hi,

I am running a fluent simulation with about 160 input-parameters. The simulation is controlled by Excel VBA and I need to calculate many cases. At first I tried to run the Workbench Update() command, but the loading and initialization took much longer than the calculation itself.
Now I tried to keep Fluent open and start the simulation with SendCommand(Command="/solve/iterate 1000"). This works pretty well, but when the fluent case is open, the changing of the input-paramter values in workbench takes about 100 seconds. If fluent is closed this only takes about 3 seconds.
So is there a way to keep the fluent simulation open and speed up the overwriting of the input-parameters?
