Hello Fluent-user,

I want to modeling cavitation with accounting the effect of non-condensation gas. In Fluent, Singhal's cavitation model is available to do this. However, the solution is difficult to converge.
I am planning to use Schnerr-Sauer model and gas effect by active 3 phases in the Mixture option suc as primary phase: liquid water, secondary phase: water vapor, and another secondary phase: air.
The density of liquid and vapor are set as constant. For the gas phase, ideal gas density is used.
In the Mass transfer panel, set mass transfer from liquid to gas, from liquid to vapor are 0 constant rate and cavitation, respectively.
Then, Boundary condition, the volume fraction of vapor at inlet and outlet is set as 0. That value for gas phase is 0.001
The calculation was divergent after I get the value of vapor fraction about 0.04 in my case.

Does any one have experience in this problem? Please help, I really need it for my thesis!!!
