Hi guys,

I am trying to make 3D wind turbine blade analysis using ANSYS Fluent. I have got some questions.

1- I want the angle of attack to be 10 degrees, for instance. So, it should be 10 degrees positive compared to the direction of relative speed (vector direction). But I don't know the exact direction of the relative speed. How do I calculate the exact rotation angle of the blade considering the flow direction? Do we change the rotation everytime we change the wind speed? Or is there any other method?

2- Fluent calculates the torque output of the blade. How do we calculate the power output from it? Using the tip speed ratio for 2 or 3 blade wind turbines?

Thank you
