I have been simulating a micro channel with methane-air as fresh mixture with various reaction mechanisms. I am using 2D axissymettric model. I am not able to get a stable combustion and mass fractions observed at outlet are pretty low telling that combustion is not proper. i am doing steady analysis. the flame front appears to move towards inlet. my inlet velocities are ranging from 0.1 to 1 m/s.
i have experimental temperature of the outer wall which i imposed by creating a profile file on the outer wall.
Can anybody help?

Are you sure you're getting a flame started?

well for lower velocities untill 0.5 m/s, the mass fraction of ch4 is completely consumed where the temerature is high on the outer wall. so yes combustion is occuring. but when i increase the complexity like i increase number of reactions and species, the mass fraction doesn't consume at all.
