Hi everybody,
I will appreciate if anyone can help me with the following doubt. I am modeling a rectangular channel with an inlet velocity boundary condition and a pressure outlet. I set the turbulence method of the inlet to "intensity and viscosity ratio" with a value of 10 for both parameter. When I plot a countour map of the turbulence intensity at the inlet surface, its value is under 10%. Does anyone why is this happening? Thank you. Best regards, egge24 |

i think to use the intensty and hydraulic diametry Dh and I
it is I=sqrt(2*K/3) with k is the kentic turbulent energy |
