hi,
Using fluent, I modeled a fluid loop such that the motion of the fluid is reciprocating. My model works fine for a transient formulation but the number of iterations is large. to reduce the number of iterations, I am trying to develop the same model using a pseudo transient formulation. The pseudo transient formulation works but only when i use an outflow boundary condition on the outlet. when i specify the pressure outlet option it doesn't work. The implication is that with the outflow option i cannot specify a temperature profile for the exit. can someone show me how to either specify a backflow temperature profile for the 'outflow' BC or tell me how to apply the appropriate backflow velocity profile to the 'pressure outlet' BC |
