Hello dear freinds.

I am working on 2D axisymetric model of gas circuit breaker and i am totally new fluent user.

I am facing some problems while simulation.

As a part of working of circuit breaker, contacts of gas circuit breaker moves when fault conditins occurs.Hence some components in model is moving and some components are stationary.so my simulation involves dynamic meshing.

All moving and stationary componts are solid and remaining volume of a circuit breaker is occupied by gas and there are some holes in moving and stationary solid components.

And from dynamic meshing point of view there is mesh interface between
i) stationary components and moving components ii) Moving components and adjecent fluid cell zones.
Hence where there is mesh interface there i have defined boundary condition as interface.
initially all interfaces are completely overpping.

so problem which i facing is
1) when moving components moves while using preview mesh motion option at some interfaces situation is such that one interface zone is moving (rigid body motion) and another intergace zone remains stationary and components moves correctly for given no of time steps.

But if i move both the interface zones (rigid boby motion) after certain no of time steps following error occurs : Negative cell volume exists.Hence i cannot move both interface zones.

Because of this i cannot move both interface zones.and if i moves only one interface zone what happening during simulation is that as component moves the contact between intrfaces starts reducing as simulation proceeds as one interface zone is miving and one is stationary.

Because of this there will not be proper heat and mass transfer from one cell zone to another, which affects my simulation results.

please any one suggest me some solution for this. Its very urgent.

Thanks in advance.
