Hello,

Is there any way that I can make Ansys Fluent to autosave the mass flow rate/discharge through pipe outlet after certain time step ? I tried with 'export" option, but I couldn't export the mass flow rate. Then I exported velocity and tried to calculate mass flow rate/ discharge manually, unfortunately I found different result from Fluent. Both should be same, right ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Tanjina

If you create a monitor of the mass flow rate, you can have it write to file every time step. Check out the Fluent User's Guide, section 28.15, in particular 28.15.4.

Thanks Kokemoor. It is working!

I made it to write every 150 time step and set another monitor to display mass flow rate at every iteration. Initially I thought I can't make two monitor for one parameter with different time step. But I can !

Thanks a lot.
