Dear sir/madam:
Trying to simulate viscous coupling, basically two disks rotating at different speeds with disk planes facing each other and separated by eg 1 mm. Selected Silicon fluid and run the analysis, no impact seen. Should see reaction forces due to the different rotating disk speeds. Q1. There are so many Silicon fluids in Fluent material library, is Silicon fluid the right choice? Q2. Should I select the power law from the material library, and what figures shall I enter? Q3. Any other specific settings, please? Thanks in advance. |
