hello everyone,
recently i am simulating a jet burner with detailed chemical mechanism using PDF transport model. i have tried to use laminar finite rate-relax to chemical equilibrium as an initial solution, then using composition PDF transport to calculate the final result. but after the calculation, i found the velocity magnitude is much larger than the velocity i set, 10 times approximately. i also have tried using partially premixed model to calculate as the initial solution, finally the velocity still was wrong. please help me, so kind of you. thank you in advance! There should be something wrong...it cannot be just a modeling error. Check you BC again (Mass flow, temperatures, pressures, etc).

hi Lucar,
i have checked my boundary conditions for several times, and they are right. would you prefer to help me for another question? should the particle velocity magnitude be the same as the velocity magnitude shown in the velocity contour? thank you very much and hope for your rely. |
