Hi, all,
I am trying to run Fluent v15 to simulate the flow through a nozzle with two narrowed cross section.

I use the velocity-inlet condition at the inlet and the pressure-outlet condition at the outlet.

With the pressure-based solve I can get a converged solution.
While the flow at the first cross section remains subsonic, arrives the Mach number at the second cross section a value of about 1.3.

If the density-based solver is selected, I have problem to judge the convergence.

The globally scaled residual of the continuity equation stays at 0.01 after 10000 steps.
But if I check the locally scaled residual of the continuity equation, the value is below 1.0e-9.

My question is: is the continuity equation converged or not?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
