hi to all
I have a question about meshing in boundary layers, as we know prism is the best mesh for this area, but can i use the triangle for boundary layer? assume using a high reynolds number turbulence model like rke and using scalable wall function, so you can use y+ less than 30. in this situation is it wrong to use a boundary layer with triangle, which because of high gradians on the body and it's wall, you already used small height and it satisfies the desired y+? in prism boundary layer you can use higher aspect ratio, but here you can't do that because of high gradians, so why should replace them with prism boundary? tnx. |
