Hello,
I have been trying to get FLUENT to create a point which rotates along with the mesh, but so far I have not been successful. The mesh rotates along the z-axis and I want to create several (32) points near a blade surface and I want them to stay near the surface. However, when I output the location of one of these points, the x and y locations stay roughly the same (the point probably gets mapped to a different element each time-step). I created the points using TUI. Does anyone know if rotating points are even possible in FLUENT or is the closest method to create points for each time step? (which would equate to roughly 4000 points with my current ambition). I will use the static pressure over time on these points to create a FFT plot. So any suggestions are welcome. |
