Hi, I'm simulating a two phase flow with vof and for that I'm using the adaptive gradient option to refine the mesh near the transition from the liquid phase to air. I also have regions with great temperature differences in my model. To refine the mesh at the region with the temperature differences, I tried to combine the options of adaptive gradient for the phase and curvature, for the static temperature, including coarsening and refinement. But when I start the simulation, it seems like the refinement of the phasegradient doesn't refine along the phasetransition anymore. The refinment doesn't move, even if the phasefront changes.
First i tried to refine the temperature region with the block refinement option in Icem and only activated the phase gradient mesh refinement. But when the phasetransition and the refining mesh get to this region, i get an error. I use only square cells to get a better solution. Is there a way, that the phase gradient refinement moves with the phase transition, but also refines the curvature of the temperature region? |
