Hey Friend
I am doing a Heat transfer analysis of Shell and tube HX (using hot and cold water) The geometry file imported has 5 parts, Shell cover(sc), Shell fluid (sf), Baffle and tube sheet (bts), Tube Fluid (tf) and Tubes. After Doing meshing and solving in Fluent setup for 50 iteration (although solution not converged) with energy equation ON, the fluent report shows these results for SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT (h). plz tell me, HOW TO READ OR INTERPRET THESE RESULTS. Plz see the attached image. Note: Here "tf with bts" and "tf end with tubes ends" etc. are the contacts b/w these parts. (src=source and trg = target). THANKS |
