Hello~ Everybody~
I am comparing the lift force between transient and steady analysis in same condition. - realizable k-e model - pressure-velocity coupling: coupled - Hydrofoil shape: NACA0012 Transient model - Inlet horizontal velocity:10m/s - vertical velocity: 5*sin(5*t) m/s - max vertical velocity: 5m/s Steady model - inlet horizontal velocity: 10m/s - inlet vertical velocity: 5m/s When I simulate the above two models, I got the below result. - Transient model: max CL=2.1 Min CL=-2.31 - Steady model: CL=0.93 The above result is different with my original expectation. Firstly, I expect the CL will be similar between two model. because it was expected that the flow in way of hydrofoil will be similar at the max vertical velocity in transient model with the steady model. Somebody could explain the reason? or Could someone give me relevant document? It will be very helpful for my study~ Have a good day~ Everybody~ |
