Changing the properties of a fluid

Dear experts,
Since I want to be able to simulate blood flow, I thought of taking an arbitrary fluid from Ansys database, and change its properties to the properties of blood. The problem is that when trying to do this, I saw I could not change any property except from density and viscosity. Is there any way to change the other properties of a fluid in Fluent? if not, is it necessary to make a udf for this purpose in order to simulate blood flow (I want to consider blood as a Newtonian fluid)? Thanks in advance |

Hello ForumLord,
you can activate the properties of the materials only after activating some models in Models Menu (for example Energy for Conductivity and Specific Heat, the same for Multiphase, etc...) Regards

Hi Bionico,
Thanks a lot for your answer. I will try it and if something still won't work, I will reply here again. |
