Hi everyone,
I need your help, please I'm doing a term project with Fluent on 2D simulation a single liquid CO2 droplet (Ro=910kg/m3, diameter is 2cm) in deep sea condition (Ro_water=1027kg/m3; at 500m P=50 atm) I made a small domain (0.2 x 1m) and patched a circle of CO2 (d=2cm), I used VOF, and temp. was 278k, Coupled Scheme, but I think I failed with pressure set up (B.C: bottom was wall and others were pressure outlet), my operating pressure was as default, but I initial value (gauge pressure) was 5,000,000 pascal (for 50atm) and time step size was 10^(-4) Experimental data said that the droplet should rise at velocity of 18 cm/s, but mine was very small (0.5 cm/s) Anyone has experience with this problem, please help me, any suggestion will be very appreciated Thanks Thao Nguyen |
