We just tried running Fluent 15 on a GPU card, but received an error as soon as Fluent started to calculate after properly loading. The error message was:

AMG on GPGPU
NVAMG version 4
Built on Aug 21 2013, 13:02:58
NVAMG ERROR: file ..\..\src\amg_gpu.c line 863
NVAMG ERROR: CUDA kernel launch error
MPI Application rank 0 exited before MPI_Finalize() with status 1
The fl process could not be started.

We mounted a SSD disk and installed windows server 2008 R2 (x64) and Ansys 15. We set up the case with the parallel algorithm (2 cores and 1 gpu), the error occurred after 1 iteration.
The computer has a GPU card and an integrated graphics card.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

what was your case setup?

i have some (minimal experience) with R15.0 on GPU's but i couldn't find anyone to trouble shoot with. actually my case is now with Nvidia via Ansys.

I know there is definitely a bug with solving energy while you are solving on GPU's. If you haven't solved this issue, let me know and i can point to my previous threads.
