Fluent case file format

Hi can anyone tell me how to uncompress the case file in Fluent....... My file type is GZ file..... I want an Ansys vXXX .cas File.......???

You should be able to open it in Fluent (in the same way that you would open a .cas file). If you want to have it as a .cas file, just save it again.
If that for some reason does not work, open it with an unzip program, for example 7zip. |

Hey thanks a lot... But what do you mean by saving it again.....I want the .cas format only and not the cas.gz format

So save it as a .cas file? That step seemed logical to me
