nidhin5585 is on a distinguished road
i hav made a plate heat exchanger plates in fluent14,i made two plates and made the interface as coupled wall(titanium 0.008m). i made chevron angles of 30, 60 and 90 on these plates, the area of the plate is same and also i have kept the corrugation area also same. I am now confused as i am getting more temperature difference in 90 deg corrugated plate than other two.

i also want to know what happens to temp when pressure drop is more or less. i am also mentioning the temp i got.
cold in-300; hot in-363K
for 30deg chevron- Cout=320.8378 ; Hout=342.12213
for 60 deg- Cout=321.43668 ; Hout= 341.76764
for 90 deg(straight)- Cout=321.47424; Hout=341.32257

or is this because i hav kept all my corrugation area to be same? in real scenario 30 deg will provide more corrug in given area. i hav considered the flow as laminar with mass flow rate .005

I am new to CFD, i request your help, i require this for my project work.
