I want to export the data file from fluent to tecplot with specified file extension, since I found that the file extension could be .dat / .plt based on different machine. Is there anyway I could set this myself?

A Tecplot file with a .dat extension is in a Tecplot ASCII (or text) format, while a Tecplot file with a .plt extension is in a Tecplot binary format.
Of course, one can directly read Fluent’s default ouput (.cas & .dat files) with Tecplot’s Fluent data loader. |

Forget to mention, I am simulating the reacting flow. So I first obtain a non-reactive flow, then add chemical reactions. Do you think this may lead to the problem??? |

I believe the issue might be with the fact that the cluster maybe running a newer version of Fluent (>14.5) and your personal machine is running an older version.
