Hi all ...I am using DPM Ijection to model sparay break up and I am facing two Problems here, Iam using group injection with unsteady particle tracking, fixes flow rate and diameter range.
1_I am not sure I completely understand how fluent calculates the Velocity for Injection. For example i know that my flow rate is 0.5 gr/s and for calculation of the velocity i use m'=rho*A*v (A is Injector Diameter) but does the fluent uses the same thing for obtaining the velocity since it injects stream of particles instead of a continues jet? my concern here is about the area, what area should be used here, injector area or area occupied by n numbers particles streams in one line. 2- I am using fixed diameter range here but after 3 iteration my diameter changes and particles diameter would increase , i am not modeling collision here and it doesn't matter if i use rosin rambler or linear distribution. i get the same result I would aprreciate if anyone could help me here |
