Dear all,
I am trying to write udf for heat flux having the formula Q = 0.304/y*y*y but I am unable to do it. It always shows some error. Can anyone write udf for heat flux. y is the length. and Q is the heat flux acting on X-Y plane in Z direction. Geometry is a cube with dimension 10*5*0.005 all are in meters. Thanks. Hello kishan,
is this a boundary condition? In this case I suggest reading Fluent UDF Manual about DEFINE_PROFILE. Regards

Dear friend,
There are some changes introduced in the formula, right now it is Q(Y) = (0.304)/(deltaY + deltaY/2)^-3 Where deltaY = 50cm and Y = 10m Y is the length on Y-axis and X whixh is equal to 5m is length on X-axis. Q is heat flux apply on the X-Y plane towards the Z direction. Geometry is a cube with dimension 10*5*0.005 all are in meters. If possible please help Regards, Kishan |
