Hi,
I have been running an unsteady simulation(FLUENT) of an axial fan. It has inlet guide vanes(IGV) and a Rotor and Outlet guide vanes(OGV). I would like to predict the tonal noise generated by the rotor. I tried using the FWH acoustic module but it only gives me a broadband spectrum and i can see the peak that is supposed to exist at he blade pass frequency. I experimented with the sources a little, first choosing the IGV and Rotor as the sources but that also produced a broadband spectrum. Only selecting the rotor blade and hub also gives me the same kind of spectrum. Could you please tell me how to get the tonal noise spectrum? Thanks! |
