cstebbings is on a distinguished road
I am running a solid conduction problem with a combination of hex, tets and pyrmaids. It was meshed in ANSYS mesher and it is conformal. The exported .msh file was read into Fluent V14.0. When I run I get a "temperature limited to 300 in #cells on zone *". Not matter what I change the calculation limts to I get this message. Research has shown that it could be the quality of the mesh. It's hard to know exactly what mesh quality parameter is really the driver if that is the problem. For such a complicted mesh the quality is not bad and I have a few cells of orthogonal quality of 0.07. I would have thought that given this is just a solid conduction problem that Fluent could handle that.
Any sugegstions are welcome.
