Dear all,
I have a problem regarding HTC calculation in Fluent. I have a case of a turbine NGV that has 1.15 Mach max on suction side. I need to calculate the htc values for constant temperature profile on blade. The heat transfer coefficients are calculated normally until the shock. But after the shock, htc's drop suddenly to negative. I tried using different turbulence methods, or discretization methods without success. What is the reason for this? Is it that fluent cannot solve after a seperation bubble occurs, or is it because of the shock? Is there any way to solve this? I am running the case 2D for now. I am using mainly Transition SST model altough I tried others too. Thanks, |
