Hi all,
I'm a final year mechanical engineering student and have taken up a project which involves analysis of a simple "rotor in a pipe" situation. I have modeled the rotor and the pipe in Pro E 5.0 and am able to mesh it in ANSYS workbench. Now i'm stuck. I don't know how to set the rotor in motion using the flow. I need to calculate the pressure drop across the rotor and its rotational speed from the analysis. I have the input parameters of mass flow rate and inlet pressure. can someone please guide me through the whole process of setting up the problem in FLUENT in a step by step manner, as i am a beginner. Thanks a million. |

As You are beginner start from Fluent tutorials. You can also check informations from imechanica etc. like that one: http://imechanica.org/files/fluent_1...ving-parts.pdf
