A question about methane combustion

Hi
I simulate methane combustion using one step mechanism and the solution (contour) of methane mass fraction has a one value at all the surface with squares in all the figure (the figure is in the attachments) any help Note: the species equation for methane and the energy equation converge to a very small residual (about 10^-12) |

Hi,
from your picture you can see you have a constant value of methane fraction in all your domain: so blue is equal to red. If your solution is ok, check the range/increase the number of countour levels. Daniele |

it means combustion is not occurring with your settings
