Hi CFD users,
I'm modelling an Anti-incing system on a wind turbine blade using FLUENT. The system is installed only in the first 30% of the chord (figure.1). What I want to simulate is Convection with the ambiant air and conduction within the blade thickness. The problem is that only conduction is considered in Fluent. I cannot see the convection effect (figure.2). Then what I tried to do is working in linear (no blade thickness so no conduction) and in this case, Fluent has well considered the convection (figure.3). Do you think that Fluent is not able to consider Conduction and convection at the same time or it is juste a BC problem? Suggestions would be very appreciated? Thanks a lot guys Ruis Last edited by zomayabssa; March 17, 2014 at 15:48. |
