Hello,
I have modelled a basic impinging jet with the nozzle diameter 0.016m and at a Reynolds Number of 90,000 and a H/d ratio of 10. I have had the following message (which I have attached in terms of a screen shot) from Fluent when I try to run it. My boundary conditions are shown on the other attachment labelled BC's. My solution setup is: Density Based Energy Equation - On Spalart-Allmaras Air as Ideal Gas Operating Conditions = 0 pressure Pressure-far-field - Gauge pressure 101325Pa at 288K Velocity-Inlet - X velocity = 82.166m/s, Pressure = 101325Pa, Turbulent Intensity 0.01%, Hydraulic Diameter = 0.016 at 288K Solution Method is Implicit Can anyone shed some light on why I am getting the error and divergence message. I am teaching myself this program and am struggling with this bit. Also would I need to scale the mesh so that I am getting the appropriate readings even though my geometry is exactly the size that it will be in my experiment? Any help would be hugely appreciated. Many Thanks Mark. |
