Hello!
I am simulating a flow field over a flat plate. The flat plat has thickness 5 mm, its bottom surface is heat flux b.c. and upper surface is coupled b.c. since it is shared to both fluid and solid zones. The 3D simulation geometry is a quarter of full domain, therefore I have two symmetry b.c. The problem I found is that when energy model is used after isothermal simulation, the result of surface heat transfer coefficient (or temperature on surface) shows over-prediction in first raw of cells from symmetry b.c. (see link below). The other raws of cells are verified with some experiment data. https://www.dropbox.com/s/1usjrtov6g...escription.jpg Can anyone help me to find the solution? Meriam |
