Hi everyone,
I am doing my FYP with studying the kitchen ventilation system. I have few questions when I set the boundary condition. As the figure show, the blue part is the inlet, red part is the outlet and other is the duct and the body of the ventilator. The cubic near the outlet is the exhaust fan. The model is k-epsilon. I set the inlet and outlet are pressure-inlet and pressure-outlet respectively. Is it correct? Also how can I set the turbulence with correct parameter? Furthermore, is there any other things I need to set? Here is the spec. for the exhaust fan: Exhaust Fan Dimension 970W x 780L x 800Hmm Duty 2.2kW Electrical 380V50Hz 3phase Pressure 406 - 387Pa Flow rate 5818 to 12544m3/h rpm 930rpm Wt. 148kg Please help me, thank you Jacky |
